DEDICATED CONCERTS

The Music Against Child Labour Campaign Initiative calls on musicians around the world to dedicate concerts to the cause every year during the month of June.

  • 15 Oct, 15:00
    Dzaleka Refugee Camp, dzaleka camp, Dowa, Malawi
    This concert will include some of the musician from the refugee camp and raise awareness about stoping child labour. A refugee camp is a vulnerable place and because of poverty children engage themselves in labour and dropping out of schools
  • 22 Oct, 17:00
    Lilongwe, Malawi
    The Music-Can Concert is a concert organized by Matt Roberts, a Malawian local musician. The concert brings together people of different ideologies with the aim of addressing issues regarding under privileged children and women.
  • 02 Dec, 12:30
    Location is TBD
    A concert to mobilize, fundraise and fight against Child labour prior to their album release. The concert aims to support Street Beats Foundation to help children go to school.
  • 2014
    Belgium
    This concert aims to highlight the potential of music as a powerful tool for advocacy and social change. It will feature compositions from musicians who fought against social injustices and child labor.
